Five year warranty against water absorption included on all covers. Manufactured using marine grade vinyl and energy efficient polystyrene inserts. The inserts are heat sealed with a poly vapor moisture barrier to protect against water absorption. UV inhibitors in both the vinyl and thread prevent premature aging of your hot tub cover.
This all adds up to a great replacement hot tub cover providing a durable and lasting cover. 1-856-437-0185 Each Hot Tub Cover offers a 4″ X 2″ 1 lb density Tapered Foam core. Heavy duty marine grade vinyl covering. Each Model has Four Child Resistant Lock Tie Downs with keyed lock fasteners (One strap on each side of cover for the most secure locations). Aluminum Center Channel for center support (resists sagging).
Two carry handles included (one on each end). Our hot tub covers will now feature WEBBING HANDLES!The webbing handle will offer a durable, box “X” triple layer handle! Looks good and adds up to a far superior product. Steam Stoppers to prevent heat from getting out of the cover through the center fold. The Steam Stopper is shown here with the hot tub cover open.
The gray arm of an optional cover lifter is also shown in the image. The bottom of the hot tub cover is made of a fine mesh screening for breath-ability of the foam core (so it does not get soggy and stinky).
The foam itself is wrapped in a perma-plastic liner to resist water absorption. The cover has a flap (typically 2-4 inches) around the edges of the spa called a skirt. The skirt must easily sit over the edges of the spa, with a little room to spare.
You can also measure the skirt on your existing spa cover. The longest the skirt can be is 6 inches. You will want this to hang straight down. So, if the lip of the spa is at an angle, make sure you measure the cover long enough to achieve this.
Also, measure the skirt long enough to cover the spa lip, or the spa cabinet rim. If you have any questions about this, please contact us at 1-856-437-0185.
So I finally bought my first spa. My wife and I are so excited. It is a 2006 Dream Maker Spa, x400.120 volt. So, we hooked it up last saturday, and everything is going very well.
Starting last night, after my wife pressed the light button once or twice, (could have just been a coincidence timing wise) the spa started acting weirdly. A small clicking noise started to come from the engine area. The light would be on it's fade program, but flashing intermittently with the speed of the clicking. Also the display would go back to its default 100 degree setting (the default temp after plugging it in) and when you try to push the temp. Up or down via buttons, it would flash '56' then go back to allowing me to attempt to change temperature.
Last night when it first started, we tried a few power cycles by unplugging spa, and plugging in, to success. Then when we got back in tonight, it started again after 15 min or so. Things that might affect, that I have just found out.
(we just moved into this home, so still learning the power situation) The breaker it is on is a 15 amp breaker, (hot tub takes 12 amps) that also, (at least, but could be more) controls the lights to 2 of the four bedrooms. (problem happens with lights on or off currently) I AM using a high gauge 25 foot. (i only needed it to be about 3-6 feet, but couldn't find a shorter one) extension chord. Doesn't seem like that could be the issue but worth throwing out there. The control panel could use some new clear silicone around the edge of the control panel, and the buttons aren't perfect from when it was brand new (just seems to have a little bit of wear, although all the buttons still work fine none the less) So.is there anyone who has any idea as to what this may be? Sorry for all the info, just know people smarter than I sometimes need all this information.
Any advice really helps. Thank you in advance. John2049 - a little late info for you. 56 on the topside controller is actually sb = standby mode. I have the owner's manual i downloaded from Dreammaker.
I had recently purchased a used 2006 Eclipse. Previous owner said it wouldn't stop running and it leaked.
The pump runs until it reaches temperature setting (they obviously didn't know, no manual). Leak, discharge line from pump had obviously broken at some point, probably frozen, and was hack-repaired with a fitting designed for a household drain line, with has no pressure. I was able to replace the hack repairs and now have a hot tub that runs properly with no leaks. I replaced the jet nozzles and also replaced the styrofoam panels in the cover as they were broken. All of this was for $600 including wiring, chemicals and the hot tub.
How to change the pump and filter mode setting on a Dream Maker spa or hot tub has come up a few times with our customers so we thought we would offer this post to guide you through the process. The Dream Maker spas use a Balboa topside control. The Dream Maker spa gives you many options as far as filtration and heating to chose from there is the factory set Standard mode (ST) and the most used setting which has the heater come on as needed to keep your desired temperature. The Economy Mode (EC) which has the heater come on during scheduled filtration cycles that you can set to off peak electrical hours. This mode will help you save money on your electrical costs.
The Sleep Mode (SL) works in the same way that the (EC) mode works but automatically sets the temperature to 20 degrees less. This is a great mode to leave your hot tub on when you are away. To change between each filter mode on a Dream maker Spa first push either the decrease or increase temperature button followed by the light button which will put you into the mode selection, then with the temperature buttons you can toggle between the 3 modes to chose your desired filtration and heating mode. There is also the standby mode (Sy) which allows you to change or clean your filters without disrupting your previous settings. To put the hot tub in (Sy) mode simply lower the temperature using the down temperature button to its lowest setting 20°C or 70°F and once there within two seconds click the lower temperature button one more time.
Once you finished push any button and reset your temperature. For more information please have a look at the.
He said it was '5'. I told him that makes no sense. When I arrived at his house he had powered down the unit.
When I turned it back on The thing started to run and is still running. According to him, when he powered on the unit after an idle time of two weeks, it sounded like it was powering up but then stopped after about 2 seconds and the error code 5 showed up. He then powered down and back up with the same results. When I got there and powered up everything was fine. I think maybe the gremlins were at work.

The spa heater manifold and heater element are supplied as part of the Balboa electrical control box. The above shown heater elements for $19.95 are both direct replacements for all FLO Thru spa heater manifolds used on Balboa packs or ACC spa controls. All these heaters are part of Balboa controls, Smart Touch controls, Spa Builders Water Group, Spa components, ACC controls, United Spas controls, Gecko Spa controls. These heater manifolds are known as FLO Thru heater manifolds. This type of tubular heater is usually made out of material known as 800 Incoloy and annealed at 1990 degrees Fahrenheit. The heating element inside the tube is electricaly insulated from the tube by Magnesium Oxide (MgO). The outside of the tube is than braised, welded or sealed by epoxy to the bulk heads.
The heater is then tested and must pass a 5 mA current leakage test to the water surrounding the tube. The manufacturing process is the same for any tubular material including Titanium, only the annealing temperature may vary. The heater manufactures are: TrueHeat, Chromalox, Heat Tube, Kawai, and CSINC (CSINC are made in India), etc. These heater manufactures will only produce based on volume. The heater manufactures sell to Balboa, ACC Controls, Thermcore, Gecko Spa Controls, Gecko Alliance, Spa Builders Water Group, Spa Components, United Spas, Acura Spa Systems, and others. These type of manifolds are also assembled by Thermcore products in San Bernardino, California and CSINC in India.

CSINC usually private labels to some of the major spa control manufacturers in the hot tub industry. Spa Components is another heater manifold assembler.
However Spa Components out source all stamping and welding of the manifold. Spa Components purchase the complete heating elements from heater manufactures and assemble them inside the heater manifold. This type of spa heaters is the most common heater elements used on most hot tubs. This type of heater element is designed to meet the lowest price mandated and influenced by marketing people in the hot tub industry. Usually the bulk heads are secured and sealed on this type of heaters fail due to the corrosive environments that exist in hot tub water.
We do not recommend the use of this type of heater in salt water regardless of what the sales people might tell you. Even if the heater element is made out of Titanium or coated, the bulk heads and epoxy are still prone to failure. We never designed this type of spa heater. We only purchase these spa heaters and sell them as replacement parts. Cosmo Heat: The Real Spa Heater with Real Warranty The Acura Spa Systems CosmoHeat, is designed without the troublesome and failure prone bulk heads.
The CosmoHeat heater and manifold are engineered with a patented O ring seal system that is bulk head and epoxy free. Additionally, when the CosmoHeat is purchased with a new Universal Spa Control (with the optional titanium heater with AAB valve), it comes with an optional 5 year replacement warranty. Acura Spa Systems is providing another choice. Not all heaters are created equal.
